I'm 23 years old. I have recently moved to Leeds. Presently I am an undergraduate at Leeds Trinity and All Saints University studying Early Childhood Studies. I am also working in a private day nursery.
My social and friendly nature means I am able to connect with children and adults from a mix of backgrounds. I feel I have gained the skills needed for the particular role. I gained a BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care in 2011 (graded three Distinctions) from Wirral Metropolitan College and would like to use the knowledge and skills gained to establish a career in the teaching profession. My Year 10 work experience was undertaken at Christ the King Pre-School and I have since worked at Park Lodge Day Nursery in New Ferry, followed by two university placements in a school working with 4-5 year olds and a day nursery, working with children aged 6 -18 months. I have found these to be very rewarding roles.
Presently I am an undergraduate at Leeds Trinity and All Saints University studying Early Childhood Studies. I am also working part-time at Asda and feel that this role has helped me develop confidence in face-to-face situations with the public. I would bring this confidence and enthusiasm to my role.
My hobbies and interests include reading, making hand crafted greetings cards, socialising with family and friends and being outdoors.

Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $7.00 per hour |
These are similar to the rate of pay I receive currently so continue to pay living costs I would need to earning this working roughly 20-25 hours a week.
