HEY!!
My name is Chloe!
I am 16 years old and I am currently studying at The City of Liverpool College. I am studying 3 A Levels which are Psychology, Sociology and English Literature.
I study psychology and sociology because I find the subjects interesting, and I study English Literature because I am a bit of an old soul, I love listening to classical music, reading poetry and books and sometimes even writing my own poetry.
I also currently work at McDonald's as a Customer Care Assistant, part of my job is to Face-Paint and balloon animal make for the children to raise money for the Ronald McDonald charity.
I love my job mostly because I get to spend most of my time with children.
When I was 9 my little sister was born, her Dad couldn't be hands on as he worked full time so I stepped in, little 9year old me. I got up through the the nights with my Mum, I didn't go out with friends every single night because I wanted to sing to, read to, feed, burp, wash and change my sisters nappy. I fell in love with her. Since then I have had a calling for kids if you like. I'm not overly smart or talented, but I am great with kids, it just works.
I am bubbly and smiley, but also patient and calm. I can have a laugh and joke with all children, however I know when to fun needs to stop in case it goes too far, or if its bed time, or tea time or bath time or even homework time.
I believe that all children should enjoy school and doing their homework, so when I help with homework I try to make it fun, for example, if I was helping with maths homework I would make a shop game, and the child would be selling me fruit, and we would work out together how much change I got.
I also try to teach my sister and other children that everyone is different, but it doesn't mean we treat them different to anyone else.
I love to bake with the children as I love watching their faces light up when they taste that cake that they've made. I believe that it teaches them that hard work, dedication and patience can make amazing things.
Occasional babysitting | $5.00 per hour |
I don't like to overcharge as I helped my mum to bring up my younger sister so I know how expensive child care costs can be, however, I would love to help out extra with homework, cooking and cleaning ect, so I believe this is a reasonable price.
