Kimberly, childcare in Malton

My name is Kimberly Helm, but most people call me Kim. I have completed my level 3 diploma in childcare, though doing this I have gained lots of experience though my placement. I have done my placement in primary school with children aged 5-7, I have been to the hospital in the play room of the children's ward, I have been to a nursery experiencing both the baby room and the pre-school room, I then went to a special school which was a great experience. After I completed my diploma I then gained a job working in the nursery that I did my placement with. I moved to a nursery in York as unfortunately my other job was only a temporary. I feel that a nanny job would be a fantastically rewarding job and a job that I would really enjoy. I think that the experience that I have gained has given me many skills and qualities some of which include; I am a caring person, I have great patience, I am very organised and punctual, I have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and development, as part of my job I plan and carry out activities to excite the children and also help them in their development.
