Siobhan, childcare - ME7 Gillingham

I am an international student from South Africa whose family was originally from Ireland/England, and I am currently studying journalism at Kent University, which puts me in a bit of a strict schedule as I have class every day until 3 pm, which means I am sadly only available for evening and weekend jobs.

I am great with children having babysat in my local community for years as I knew most of the families because my mother was the local midwife. The youngest child I have ever taken care of was two weeks old and my longest job was taking care of triplets who were seven months old. I enjoy playing make-believe games and reading stories with the children I am watching. Sadly, I have learnt that when it comes to xbox or Wii that most four year olds are better than me so I prefer to engage children in arts and crafts instead if possible.

I am well equipped to deal with teething, walking and potty training as I have done it all multiply times.
