Hello,
My name is Emily and I am 25 years old. I live in Oakley and I have a 10 month old son (who can be looked after by my mother in law if you didn't want me to bring him with me).
My background has always been childcare, I started babysitting at 16 and then I volunteered in the local lower school working in the reception and year 1 class. I then got a job working in a nursery where I worked with children aged 6 weeks to 4 years old.
I am looking for full time work as a nanny but would also be happy to work 3 days a week too, ideally I would like to bring my son with me but understand that isn't for everyone.
I have a degree in early years education, I have an up to date DBS, food hygiene, paediatric first aid and I've been on a caring for babies and sing and sign course.
I love watching children learn through first hand experiences so I will often take the children that I nanny for outside and allow them to explore the countryside for themselves. I would take the children to the park, the zoo and then to groups such as messy play and music groups.
I would also carry out activities at home such as cooking and drawing so they are always entertained. As I have worked with children of different ages I have a good understanding of activities to plan which suit each child and their age and stage of development.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Kind regards,
Emily
Home nanny | $9.00 per hour |
I charge £9 because I have a degree in early years education, I have an up to date DBS (February 2016), I have paediatric first aid, food hygiene and I've been on a caring for babies course. I also have been on a sing and sign course which is an excellent way to help babies and toddlers to communicate when they don't have enough language to express their own feelings.
