Margaret, childcare - ML3 Hamilton

Dear sir/madam,

My name is Margaret, and I have 28 years’ experience childcare. I had been nannying for 10 years and then had my child, since going back to work I have been working in nurseries to make sure I had long term employment, while working in nurseries I worked with children from 6 weeks to teenagers. I have also helped with my granddaughter who is nearly 3 years of age.
When working with children I like to lots of activities that encourage a child's development through sensory activities i.e. gloop, physical activities i.e. music and movement also going on outings. Language by going to libraries and song time groups and thinking skills by using cards different toys i.e. shape sorters and jigsaws. I also enjoy taking children to different groups. I followed the curriculum for excellence when working in the nurseries, keeping track of all the children's development, through activities, speaking to parents both in the morning and at night, letting them know what has been happening with their children through the day, having consultations with parents at parents evening, training within the nursery provided by the company

While being a nanny and looking after your child I don't mind doing house work, washing, ironing and a bit of cleaning if needed and playtime for your child with the educational activities above.

I am flexible when working hours to suit the family and nurseries and I am available to start straight away. I am also willing to spend time with both the parent and child or children to get to know them before the job starts.
