Kimberly, childcare in Motherwell ML1

Hello, I'm 20 years old and have a 19 month old son. I am highly interested in childcare and child development and looking to gain more experience. After the summer, I will be studying 'Higher Childcare and Development' at South Lanarkshire College, which will hopefully enable me to progress to HNC childhood studies next year. One of the factors which will decide whether I can gain entry to HNC next year is my experience in working with children, and therefore I am looking to gain as much experience as possible this year.
When I applied for this years college course, I also applied for a PVG check which is needed to be able to do the course, So I can phone the college to check on the progress of the PVG check if this is required by you as it will hopefully be available soon.

I have 19 months parental experience through looking after my own son, and have looked after other children (ages 6, 7, 8, 11 and 13) on various occasions throughout the past 4 years.

I get on really well with every child I have the pleasure of meeting. I am friendly, polite, respectful and understand various aspects of child development and milestones and individual learning needs.
