I am a qualified nursery nurse of nearly twenty years, working in various types of settings with children from the age of six weeks to five years.
I am looking for some extra work during the school holidays, maybe changing my job to become a nanny if the situation is right.
I am fun, imaginative, well organised and enjoy being outdoors or visiting a museum with my daughter. For me learning should be fun and learned by first hand experience. This is how I am with the children I work with. I like to follow a child's interest and build upon it, for example, if we see a spider let's go outside for a mini beast hunt. I love reading books and enjoy singing and dancing, even though I am not good at either.
