Hello, I'm Rachel and I'm looking for the opportunity to care and look after children for a family in need of support from a friendly, loving, enthusiastic and committed person.

A few years ago I completed and obtained my Level 2 & 3 teaching assistant qualifications due to my love for children, however due to my commitments I was unable to take such a drop in salary.

I currently work in Internal Communications and have worked for the same company for 12 years now. Although I enjoy my role and I'm committed to this, it's not rewarding. I'd love the opportunity to have a positive impact on a childs life and teach them right from wrong and help them develop.

I have a niece 4 and nephew 7 who I love like my own. My nephew is autistic and therefore have experience with children who have learning difficulties.

When I was born my mother became a childminder to be able to stay at home and take care of myself and my sister while working. I have been around large groups of children at home all of my life and would like to pass on the love and care that a family needs like my Mam passed to other children.

I am 100% committed to everything I do and would relish the opportunity to care for children of all ages.
