Sonia, childcare - NG9 Beeston

Hello there! I've had a year of professional experience with children aged 6-12 in a psychology clinic, and also with little cousins between the ages of 2 to 6, and am currently babysitting a 7-month-old infant here in Beeston twice a week. Not sure if this is odd, but being a babysitter has been one of my longtime dream jobs (probably sparked when reading the babysitter's club series at age 8).

I'm undertaking postgrad studies in psychology at the moment, and would like to work with children in a professional setting in the future. My past experiences with kids who have ADHD have deepened my awareness of how to handle difficult situations, but I know there is a lot more I have to learn and rest assured I will look after your child in a respectful and caring manner, according to your instructions.

As a sitter, I reckon that I am easy to get along with as I am curious, easily entertained, and can be somewhat childlike myself, which makes it easy for kids to relate to me. I hope so at least! Apart from that, I am responsible and patient and will do my very best to be a good 'adult friend' to your child. :)
