Dear family,

My name is Johnette, I am 22 years old. I am a fun, loving, friendly, hard-working, honest, confident, compassionate and enthusiastic individual, who cares for the well-being of others and not afraid to take charge of situations, I am well organised with good communication skills. I am a excellent listener and I Always follow instructions.

My passion for children has always been apart of me from a tender age, it goes back to when I lived in Liberia. I would gather the young children in my neighbourhood and look after them, playing games, singing and dancing whiles parents were busy.

I am looking for a full-time/ part-time position working as a live-in or live-out Nanny or Baby sitter. I love working in partnership with families because my intend is to give each family the best help and care/support they need.

My Education.

In 2003 to 2008 I attended secondary school, I achieve 6 GCSEs, Maths, BTEC Science, English, Philosophy, Food Technology and Drama.
In September 2008, I attended college, achieving a distinction in BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts, this course gave me both the courage and creativity required to commit myself to my dream job: working with children. after the one year of performing arts, I then went on to study CACHE Level 3 Child Care and Education for two years at College and I achieved a merit over all.
In addition to the course I gained a level two qualification in nutrition and health.

During my studies, I attended 4 different placements, two of my placements were based in primary schools, working with children at age 4-5 and age 9-11 years and during this period, I had the opportunity to work with a child who had special needs (dyslexia). following on to this, I also worked in 2 nurseries, with children at ages 0-2 and 3-4.

After my studies I have worked in two settings, firstly I worked as a NANNY for 12 months with two amazing children, ages 2 and 3 years, I have worked as a play-worker with ages 4-11 years and as a level 3 nursery nurse at bright horizons family solution. At this nursery I worked with children from 0-4 years. In my first year of working at this nursery, I worked with ages 2-3 years for 1 year, birth-2 years. But I would work in the 3-4's room, when a member of staff was off work.
