Megan, childcare in Normanton on trent

I have grown up with 4 younger siblings, their ages ranging from 12 years old to 6 years old. I have taken care of them 2 or 3 days a week over 12 hour periods as my mother worked 12 hour shifts at a nursing home. I used to take care of them while she worked both night shifts and day shifts. I have gotten then ready for school, made their packed lunches, taken them to school, managed household duties while they were at school, picked them up, made them dinner, bathed them, got them ready for bed, put them to bed etc. I did this for over a year, so although i have no formal childcare qualifications i have first hand experience dealing with children in an assort of age ranges.
I like pets, i like the outdoors and taking the children on trips to the park. One of my main hobbies is reading, and bedtime stories are something i'm brilliant at. I have experience within the performing arts industry so different voices for characters are never an issue.
I love looking after children and i'm hoping that if i get chosen for a job, not only will i have a bond with the children but with the parents as well.
