I am 18 years old nearly 19 i have a full time job but i am currently looking for a full or part time job in child care, I havent been to college to study child care because i believe the experience is completely different to being taught child care. To me no amount of studying can actually give you the experience of actually looking after a child, every single child is different and needs certain requirements that other children might not need. I completely understand that because i dont have an actual qualification for child care that i might not be good enough or experienced enough or maybe not even know how to handle a child or even trusted for that matter but i can guarentee that i would 100% try my best looking after your children. I am open for a dbs check and anything else you would like to check on me. I personally like to think of myself as a big kid but also some one who can put there foot down when needed to . I dont have set plans to do while looking after children i prefer to get to know them as an individual and know what they like doing and what they dont like doing. I like to learn off the children as much as they learn from me. For an example if a child likes to draw or paint I would find out what they like to draw and whats there favourite colour and why they like to draw but if the child is to young to talk or has a disability i would find a way to communicate with them thats easiest for them. If you have any questions at all please ask me.
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $6.90 per hour |
I dont have a set amount to charge i go by what the parents/guardians can afford because personally i know money is tight. For an example I personally wouldnt say £8 an hour id discuss it with the parents/guardian of the children and we would go from there.
