Deon, childcare - NP44 Cwmbran

My name is Deon, and I am 18 years old, I have a full, clean license and a car for transportation. I have worked with Torfaen Play Service for 2 1/2 years, my main role was a 1-1 support for young children with disabilities, but I have lots of experience and training for mainstream children as well. I am well practised at delivering games and interaction with children, and this is the line of work I wish to continue down as I grow older. I find children approach me easily and comfortably, and have a reputation of building effective bonds with families. As I now support two children from the service on a private basis as well. I am willing to work whatever hours needed, and am happy to do any school runs, homework assistance, putting the children to bed, taking them out to any activities they may participate in, and care in the home. I have had paediatric first aid training, team teach (for behaviour and de-escalation), Buccal Midazolam (epilepsy awareness and medication training), tube feed training, autism awareness, and personal care training. I am comfortable working with all ages.
