Katie, childcare - NR1 Lakenham

Hello my name is Katie, I am a friendly, caring and honest person, and have a passion for working with children, I love helping them to learn and develop and find it very rewarding. Creating strong bonds with both child/children and parents is of the upmost importance. I am reliable, trust worthy and can be flexible to work around hours to suit your childcare needs. I am enthusiastic and creative, and can adapt my skills to cater to all of your children's needs, interests and abilities. I have now been working with children for the last 12 years gaining a level 3 National Diploma in Childcare. Whilst nannying I have worked for 3 families, looking after multiple children ranging between 2 & 8. Responsibilities included sole charge, cooking for children, bath time, sleep routines and bed time, taking children to and from school, potty/ toilet training, organising fun activities and trips throughout the day. For the last 9 years I have worked in private nurseries, for 4 years I was a room leader of a baby room and have worked at my current nursery for 5 years. Duties include sleep routines, bottle feeding, weaning, nappy changes, meal times, planning and carrying our various activities for all areas of the EYFS.
