Megan, childcare - NR17 Little ellingham

Hello, my name is Megan, i'm 24 years old and live in the country side near Attleborough, but i'm currently looking for Nanny work in Norwich. This is because i plan to go to College in September to do Access to Science for Health Professionals so i can continue to do a distance learning Nutritional Therapy Degree. I'm very passionate about health eating hence my future career direction! When i have completed all this, which wont be till 2023, i plan to focus on children's nutrition as i feel its so important for all areas of development and health!

My hobbies include cooking, creative activities, walking, gardening and reading. And i love to try and share these passions with the children i'm with.

I have been surrounded by children my whole life and love spending time with them, i find it especially fulfilling becoming part of a child's life and being there to help them develop and grow.

I have been Childminding for various families and family members/friends since the age of 15 for a range of children from age 1.5yrs to 13yrs, these have mostly been very part time or occasional but where i found my love for being with children.

I was also very involved with the raising of my 2 younger siblings as my Mother was taken ill when i was 15 and took on the role of carer for her, keeping on top of the house and supporting my family in any way i could which gave me a lot of experience with the general running of the home.

Since last December i have been working with a family full time in Norwich helping them with all aspects of home life which for the most part involved childcare for the 3 & 4 year old girls, and taking them out for activities giving them some stability and giving the parents a break. As well as housekeeping and care work for parents who unfortunatly came to be ill which is why i came to help them. But luckily there health is in recovery and it is sadly time for me to move on.

I also regularly child mind and housekeep for another family once a week who i am also very close to and will be continuing this as long as they need me as we are all quite attached to each other!

I am currently learning to drive and should be fully licensed before the summer is over. But until then i live with and near drivers who drive to norwich or surrounding town where there are plenty of busses.
