My name is Lizzie and I am looking for temporary employment before I start my postgraduate diploma in social work in January. I am 25 years old and I have been married to my lovely husband for over one year now and we have no children. However, I looked after twin girls during 6th form during days I was not at school who were under the age of 12 months. Furthermore, I have six nieces and three nephews between the ages of 0-13 years old. I enjoy looking after my nieces and nephews to help out my siblings but also enjoy having my older nieces over for sleepovers. Lastly for over two years, I have worked in a children's home as a residential care worker for Looked After young people between the ages of 11-17 years old. I thoroughly enjoyed this role which has resulted in me wanting to progress with my career and become a social worker. Due to my experience in working with children of all ages, I am happy to work with any age now and I am also happy to cook and clean.
Within my role as a residential care worker, I have training in first aid, food hygiene and fire safety. Furthermore, I completed a CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF).
