Janine, childcare in Plymouth

Hi, I am a nanny of over 20 years experience working in London as a full-time Nanny and a qualified chef too! I am ultimately looking for full time work either with one family or in a nanny share but am also available for occasional /emergency care and babysitting even at short notice. I have excellent references some from families who I am very much in contact with despite my babies now being at university!
I love what I do, have a real affinity with children. I set firm boundaries which children soon learn and then we can relax and have fun knowing where those boundaries are set. Children soon learn that no means no but that as they grow and develop and learn to compromise, those boundaries can be stretched accordingly.
I love playing games with children, it is a great way to learn everything from social skills, reading and maths to how to be a good loser!! That said, there are no losers in the games I play with children, there is a winner and the rest are runners up!
I am very keen on arts and crafts both in the house and whilst out on adventure walks and love to cook and bake with children in my care too. I even enjoy helping with homework!
I can speak a little French, enough to help with some homework and make myself understood but I am by no means fluent!
I am happy to cook for your children and you - even fill the freezer with homemade goods to make your life easier when I am not around!
