Martha, childcare - PO16 Fareham

My name is Martha and I am currently 18 years old and have just finished my 2 year Health and Social care btec level 3 extended diploma with D*D*D*.
In the near future I wish to attend university and get a degree in paediatric nursing as I have always had a passion for working with people. Funnily enough especially children.

I currently have a part time job at a children's indoor play centre which I enjoy very much and have gained skills in the supervision of children from ages 1-12.

I have previously babysat for neighbours and friends of neighbours and have absolutely loved it. My roles then mainly included entertaining the child ie puzzles, films, playing with their dolls. Making snacks - the ones mummy would approve of, not the 8:30pm chocolate bar that they promised they always had just as they were going to bed! I helped the children get ready for bed ie brushing teeth, toilet and reading bedtime stories.

I have a lot of younger cousins and friends with young family members and enjoy spending time with them. Taking part in activities such as baking and arts and crafts.

I would love to further my babysitting and childcare experience and I believe I have the skills and ability to do so. I am a caring, patient and organised individual who understands how family
life works.

I am able to babysit when needed if offered I would love the opportunity to take part in day care.
