Joel, childcare - PR8 Southport

Joel has been a member of our organisation for a number of years now and has contributed positively to every event he has been on, first as a participant and especially effectively as a leader. He has led on various summer and winter camps as a volunteer. In summer 2013 for two weeks with years 5-7 and in 2014 for 2 weeks with years 10 (age 15), both camps had 60-80 participants. Having completed our extensive leadership training course when he was 16, Joel has been a consistent volunteer leader on our events. He has has given and continues to give so much of his personal skills and interests and encourage others to be enthusiastic also. He is an incredible part of any team and it has been an absolute joy working with him and see him develop. He is approachable to participants and can work with participants one on one or in larger groups. On our camps he has ran a range of activities from sports and drama to education on social action and repairing the world. Joel has received positive feedback from young people that he has worked with. Similarly all of those who have worked on teams with him have found him extremely supportive, helpful and full of knowledge and insight. Joel is an ideal member of any team. He adds positively to the whole atmosphere of our camps, by bringing his enthusiastic, interested and interesting persona. I could not recommend any candidate more highly.
