Lindsey, childcare provider in Ashtead KT21

Hello my name is lindsey i have been in childcare for 5 years. I started at an outstanding nursery in cobham where i started off as a nursery nurse in a toddler room. I worked very hard to complete my NVQ 3 to then become a deputy head of a pre school room, very shortly after that i became the head of room which i absolutely loved. I then got promoted to the Depuy Manager of the nursery setting which was a fantastic opportunity and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to try something different after being a deputy manager and decided to nanny, i have been doing so for the last 15 months.

I love being with children and doing fun activities, I enjoy seeing children blossom in every way. Its a natural part of me to add learning in to play even if its just having al ittle conversation about what colours are in a rainbow or how many pigs can you see at the farm etc. I like to write a comment on the back of childrens work thats we do to show an area that we covered even if it is just a little mark on the paper that could be their house! I think its nice for parents to see what we have done for the day. I also am keen on going to toddler groups or out and about for a few hours to the park etc.
I am looking for a position for either 30 hours or 40 hours a week.

I can start from December 2014.
