Chantay, childcare provider - B34 Birmingham

Hiya, I am Chantay. I am 19 years old and currently live at home with my mum who is a nurse and brother who works in landrover. I have worked in care homes for elderly since I was 15/16, I have also helped care for my elderly nan who had dementia and have also cared for my now 7 month year old nephew. I have a desire to be helpful and make a difference. Care has always been a part of my life and working with children and elderly have always been a passion. From a young age I knew I loved kids. After working in several care homes it is now kids I want to focus on. For the last 7 months I have cared for my nephew who I would have stay over at my house twice every week. I am very passionate about kids and would love the opportunity to work with them. I passed all my main subjects at school (GCSE) and then went on to do an apprenticeship in a care home. I now hold a Health and Social Care Level 2 NVQ.
