I am a 21 year old female, I have been looking after children from a young age (younger siblings, other family members) and also have experience working with children in childcare settings for just over 2 years.

I have a level 3 Childcare diploma and am first aid trained.

I aim to build an environment where the children feel free to be themselves and feel encouraged to share their emotions, interests, concerns and day to day life experiences with an adult they can trust. Building communicative relationships with children is very important to me, I believe that it is imperative for children to not just be heard but also understand that they are being listened to and know that what they're saying holds importance.

Although adult led activities and play can be beneficial for a child's development, it is also important to engage in child-led activities, basing their development goals around their interests is a positive way to keep the child engaged, focused and most importantly happy.
