Tilly, childcare provider : Ballaghaderreen

Hello,

My name is Tilly and I am 17 years old, 18 in October of this year.

I currently live in Southern Ireland where I moved when I was 7 years old, but on completion of my Leaving Cert (A Levels) I am moving back to Cheltenham, where I was born. I intend to have a gap year from my studies in order to gain life experience through working. I intend to continue with my studies when I am sure of the career path I want to take.

I have two younger sisters aged eleven and fourteen and I have enjoyed the role of being the older sister. I have previously looked after the children of my parent's friends, ages ranging from 6 months to 6 years old.

As I'm currently living in a very rural area of southern Ireland, I am looking forward to, on my return to the UK, having some driving lessons and obtaining my licence!

My interests include music, fashion, cooking from scratch and current affairs. I like to be up to date with the news, I like to know what's going on around me.

One of my sisters is a vegetarian and I have therefore become adept at catering for somebody with an alternative diet. I am extremely health conscious regarding food and lifestyle.

In regards to young children I feel it is very important, weather permitting, to encourage outdoor activities to keep fit and active and encourage sociable behaviour with other children.

I very much look forward to meeting any future employers and working hard to meet the standards required.
