I am currently working as an LSA in a school for children with disabilities, working with children ranging in age from 3 to 8 years old. I have also worked in a school as a lunch time supervisor and volunteered in a school helping children who are behind with their reading. I have a current DBS certificate. Previously I have worked in a library where one of my duties was organising children's activities and story time events. I also have over 7 years experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and had an 18 year old young woman with a learning disability live with me full time for two years, helping her become independent.
I have also raised my 17 year old Daughter, helped with nieces, nephews and friends children.
I am hard working, kind and compassionate, I am a non smoker and am very organised and always punctual.
I am computer literate and would be happy to supervise whilst homework is being undertaken. I enjoy arts and crafts also so have no problem entertaining younger children.
