My name is Amy and I'm a private nanny to two beautiful boys. They are coming of school age now so sadly it's time to move on. I have over 18 years experience, I worked in a private nursery for 13 years as a senior practitioner, I worked with all ages from babies to pre school, I'm an excellent communicator and enthusiastic with everything I do. I have many years of experience working with families and children but have particularly enjoyed my time as a nanny. I have 2 children of my own and I love being a mum. I have provided many activities and experiences for the boys over the past few years within the EYFS and used the guidelines to help plan topics and activities for them. I'm looking for a full time position Monday to Friday.

We have employed Amy as a live out nanny for 3 years to look after our two boys. As they are going to both be at school we no longer require a full time nanny but it is heartbreaking to not be able to have Amy with us forever. She has so many amazing qualities that I couldn't possibly list them all here. Firstly she is a super positive and happy person with a beaming smile on her face every morning and never an off day. Hardworking, reliable and flexible, always putting in 100%. Amy is constantly doing crafts, activities and baking with the boys (not good for my waistline!). They are two years apart so activities are tailored so that they are learning and developing skills that are age appropriate to each of them. Amy thinks out themes and bases activities round them so for example in August there was a summer beach theme so they made craft crabs and octopuses, got seaside books from the library, had a trip to the beach and even cooked sausages on the BBQ. Every day Amy writes in a diary so I know what the boys have been doing, eating etc. She has looked after them since the youngest was three months and the oldest is now five so I would say that she is brilliant from the very newborn baby stage right through. I have never worried about leaving my boys with Amy, even when they have been a bit under the weather as she cares for them with the same love and attention I would give them. In fact when we go on holiday the boys miss her and can't wait to get back. Amy is by far the best child care professional I have met (and I have experience with both nannies and nurseries). I would not hesitate to give her an excellent reference and am happy to chat face to face or by phone with any potential employers.
