I have volunteered at a youth club called Prism Project where i worked with children of all different ages. These children were from different backgrounds and had different abilities. I learnt how to manage children in difficult situations.

My role was planning and carrying out activities with children and recording information. I feel that I am well suited to working with children as I have an friendly approach and can think of different methods for keeping them happy, safe and entertained.

I also took part in a Drugs Peer Education programme, where i learnt about the consequences of smoking. I then carried out a lesson plan where I taught children about the dangers of smoking and what it contains. I can now manage and teach a class of 30 children about different topics.

Most importantly, I have looked after my younger siblings and cousins so I have some experience with toddlers as well. i have done some babysitting for family and relatives.
