I am a fully qualified NNEB (Diploma) Nursery Nurse with over 15 years experience working with children under 5.
I am very flexible, reliable, honest, outgoing, cheerful, punctual and a good communicator. I am a very organised person , as well as being able to use my own initiative when required – I feel that my vast experience in various settings has prepared me now for a slightly different direction in my career – I still would like to work with children as I feel that is where my personality and skills are best utilized – I have often been complimented on my patience and the good relationships I form with the children – I have been know as the Pied Piper at my present Pre-School as the children want to be with me and want my attention. I also enjoy talking with the parents at the end of each day and share with them what their children have done during their day at pre-school – I have formed some really good relationships with some parents and at times when a second sibling has joined the Pre-School some parents have requested that I become the Key Worker their second child too.
In 2016 I have recently attended Early Years Conference, Paediatric First Aid & Introduction to Child Protection Courses and Prevent Duty Training.
I also attended the IHCC Course for Childminders run by South Glos Council in May – June 2010.

In my spare time I enjoy doing Crafts – I make hand made Jewellery, Plaques, Greetings Cards and other Gifts for Craft Fayres – I also help my Aunt who every Summer has “Cream Teas” in her own home for the Elderly Church Groups who she is connected with & Christmas Fayres for the same Groups – this involves making lots of different gifts which are suitable for these Groups .
I enjoy going to the Theatre, music and the cinema. I also have 2 Nieces who I spend time with – my oldest niece has Cerebral Palsy and I enjoy spending time with her and helping her with activities that sometimes she finds difficult.
