Sarah, childcare provider in Chatham

Hi im sarah. Im a bubbly outgoing girl. I love working and interacting with children of all ages.
Im offering babysiting, childcare ( in partent home) - however am willing to take the time (etc) to gain the qualification of full childminder ( at my home, if deseried. I am looking for full time work but will accept partime if needed. Any ages are ok. Im comfortable with all, and am willing to to gain and expand my experience where necessary.

I will admit openly i suffer from dyslexia and dyspraxia ( this is mildly!!) HOWEVER this dosent stop me from looking after children to the best of my ability. It makes tasks such as paperwork eg spelling and physical tasks that are extremely fiddley -difficult and frustrating. But i can over come it in a different outcome to how others might, resulting in this task completed.
I have always enjoyed children's company. I qualified in 2006 cache diploma. Since then i have honestly been in and out of childcare work. Have been a waitress in one resturant for 13 and half years ( due to it being the more stable wage at the time) However my passion remains the same.! Recently I have been a leader at a local cub and beaver youth group for about 3 years now. (Ages 6 till 8 beavers 8 till 10 and half cubs) . Leader Training modules taken. Including 1st ai. I love every second and wouldnt trade it for a second or the highest paying job going. There i lead and help lead activites such as camp and camp prepration, cooking , arts and crafts, simple games such as dodgeball ( which the children adore) , parachute games, discussions, visits to the hut or outings eg fire station, badge work and tasks, sleepovers and movie and acrivity nights at the hut, season parties eg christmas/halloween, trips including the raf museum etc. I also have created a colouring in station, where the children can take an image, colour it in , trace it cut it out, make cards, posters or do the puzzles provided etc. This is to help keep them occupied before the sessions start, or if they wish to be on their own peacefully.

I love to create activities eg.. painting, playdoh, colouring ( whether of a colouring book or by my hand), stickers, anything relating too disney and others. Other arts and craft activities . I enjoy the joy on the childrens faces. The messer the mess created the better. ( obviously will be suitablely cleared up). I enjoy reading with the children, engaging in their games( even if from their own imaginations) .

I will admitt my profesional experience is of a low level, over the time since i gratituded college course. But i am willing too learn if required anything extra, and work on my lack of profesional experience.
