I am a very calm, caring and positive person. I very much enjoy interacting with children and have a flexible approach. I aim to help children achieve their goals and become the very best they can be. I am a confident, practical, organised and meticulous person. I like to get my jobs done to the highest of standards while having fun. I enjoy trying my hand at new skills and rolls and I’m quick in picking up new routines and ways of doing things. I enjoy working alongside others but am also able to work independently or within a team where necessary. I thrive in roles of responsibility and being able to meet deadlines.
I am currently working as a qualified Nursery Practitioner with a Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Early Leaning.
In my roll I work with 2-5 year old children. I am the room leader and have three other practitioners that make up my team. I key work 12 children and it is my responsibility to complete all the children's observations, assessments and plan their next steps of learning. I make sure that all the children’s EYFS goals are met. I update the children's learning journals ready for the parent’s evenings and/or if parents want to follow their child’s progress. I complete all the weekly planning sheets and organise children’s activities ensuring that learning opportunities are always available.
