My name is Laura , I have many years experience working children of different ages professionally and privately. Career wise I have started of completing my gsvq level 2 care after leaving school at 17 went onto complete my N.C childcare and education. I left college and started work As a play assistant then became softly supervisor. I spent over 3 years at this position then I became a children's representative overseas with Thomas cook. This was always a dream of mine which I thoroughly enjoyed. I spent and completed 5 summer seasons in salou and Tenerife. I then in 2007\8 spent a year in London working within the fast food chain wimpy. I worked with this company in every winter season from about 2005. From 2008 I have worked in Wilkinson as assistant till supervisor, I left there due to not enough hours. I then after period of unemployment, decided to go back to college 2012 to complete my Hnc childcare and education but unfortunately due to personal family circumstances, I choose to leave college to help care for my mum due to being diagnosed as terminally ill. After losing her in 2013 I have had a stressful time but feel the time is right to get back to what I love doing, which is caring, educating and providing a safe and stimulating environment for children of all ages. I am a very trustworthy, professional person who always strives to be the best I can be. I love working with children it's a rewarding career. I have mainly worked with the age group of 2 and upwards to 13. But in my private life I have 4 fantastic nieces under the age a 5 who I spend loads of time with. My knowledge is wide spread I no every nursery rhyme imaginable and over the years played loads of games and prepared all sorts of different activities ranging from arts and crafts, sand and water, book corners, outdoor activities.
