Shayna, childcare provider in Darlington DL3

I am Shayna, I have just moved into my own home with my boyfriend in Darlington.

I have always enjoyed taking care of children and people around me and as I think I am a patient, friendly and caring person. I have a younger brother and an older sister who has disabilities which I have previously looked after and feel like I have a good understanding of their basic needs, use my initiative and good at following instructions.

I understand that children develop at different paces and with different abilities, all of which I would interested in learning more about and being able to assist with. As I have previously worked on reception at a Veterinary Practice, I have gained experience working in customer service and with good communicating skills feel like I would be able to develop positive relationships with parents along with their children. Lastly I am keen to gain a qualification in childcare so am currently looking for an apprenticeship in this.

I am good at playing games and keeping children entertained, I frequently help my younger brother with his homework and have good qualifications from GCSE's to be able to assist. I also love cooking so this would not be a problem for me.
