I have been working as a voluntary teaching assistant in a primary school in Dundee which I have been loving and interested in how children learn and the areas they struggle in (numeracy is a very common one), it's very interesting to me and I love helping all of the children. We also do language and reading and writing groups that I take small groups at a time to assess their abilities. I have learned a lot from it, including how patience is key with children, and I believe I have this quality. It's helping me build experience towards hopefully primary teaching one day. I am very keen to become a primary teacher! I am looking for caring/babysitting for all ages and my current work have reduced my hours greatly so if it was full time would consider to leave my job and/or work around both to suit the family. I have a car so I can travel round the area if needed also.
