Samantha, childcare provider in Edinburgh

Hello there; I'm Samantha,

I am a 25 yr old Edinburgh local with a real passion for children and childcare. I am a very organised, reliable and dedicated individual.

I have shared a number of passions over my life; juggling my love for ballet (my full-time profession until recently) and my love for the provision of care for others, primarily children.

Having been blessed with a baby brother 5 years ago, my time was shared between dancing professionally and caring for him. The maternal flame that comes with caring for children was lit from day 1 and I soon realised that a career in childcare is perfect for me.
Having a young brother (now 5 years old) and a Mother who worked out of town; I was offered the opportunity to take full-time responsibility for my brothers care.

I have experience of full time childcare throughout all stages of childhood from newborn through to young child.

I have experience with; cooking meals, sticking to routines, general house cleaning/tidying, homework help, bathing/dressing.

I also have previous experience of working with children as a Centre Co-ordinator at Gambado in Fountainpark.

I also enjoy using my dance background to entertain children in the form of dance classes. I am also a keen cook and baker and like to use this as an interactive activity with children.
