Charlotte, childcare provider in Featherstone WF7

Hello parents and caregivers!

My name is Charlotte, I'm nineteen and currently studying Early Childhood Education in Ontario, Canada, and am in my second semester. I was born and raised in West Yorkshire, UK, and have lived in Canada for several years now. During my four month break this summer, however, I will be coming to the UK to see family, and plan to work whilst I am there. I absolutely love children, and would like to pursue a job in child care during this time. My availability is flexible; I am open to working any day, seven days a week.

I have experience working in a professional childcare setting (at a student placement) with children ages 2-4 and 6-12. I feel that I work best with children of preschool age (2-4), and would prefer to care for this age group. However, I am open and enthusiastic about working with children of any age group.

I enjoy planning and doing play-based learning activities with children, and have experience in doing so. I am supportive of each child's individual needs, wants and differences, and will do my best to be attentive and accommodate to every child. I consider myself to be gentle and nurturing, and will always attend to a child who is distressed, hurt, upset, etc immediately. I have been trained in first aid and CPR, and understand how to react in an emergency situation.
