I am a 26 year old female who lives in County Durham. I am currently working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (Level 3) and wishing to extend my professional experience out side of school settings.
I enjoy baking, cooking, arts and crafts and reading, music and out door activities such as skiing and hiking.
My passion is working with children and young people and I have been a Teaching assistant since my apprenticeship in 2014. During this time I have gained qualifications and experience in Makaton, First Aid, PECS, Colourful Semantics and Phonics.
I am a kind, patient, hard working and creative person who enjoys caring for young children. In my spare time I also volunteer for St John Ambulance as a first aider for community events, and am currently training to become a qualified Youth Leader for our units Cadet team (aged 10-17).
I have a full clean driving licence which I have held since 2008 and own my own vehicle.
