I am currently working for a recruitment company full time.
I have always wanted to work with children. I worked as a full time nanny from January 2014 for two boys, aged 2 and 4. This role was Monday to Friday, generally 10-3.
I worked for another family along side this role for two children in school (aged 8 and 11). This role involved at 7am start, waking the children, helping them with their breakfast and then dropping them to school before heading over to the second family. I would then collect both children from school, take them to any after school activities, cook them their evening meal and get them ready for bed.
The family with the two young boys very sadly moved away, leaving me with very few working hours. I was offered a job full time at Nationwide in March 2015 which i simply couldn't turn down.
After not enjoying my time working in an office at Nationwide and again at my current role it is clear that working with children is where my passion lies.
I have had lots of experience looking after newborns, i have a nephew who is now three years old and on several occasions (from the age of 3 months) i have had him for a long weekend and taken care of him on my own along with my 8 year old niece. I have also had other baby sitting jobs for friends for they're newborns and elder children.
