I initially attended a childcare "Get Ready for Work" and self development course with TIGERS Training. This covered employability skills and a work placement in chilcare. The course also foccussed on confidence building, motivation and assertiveness.
This course then progressed to a Modern Apprenticeship in Chilcare which i had completed and now hold a qualification called SVQ Level 3 Children's Care Learning and Development.

I have worked in a private day care nursery for over 10 years.
During my time at nursery i have gained a lot of knowledge of both curriculum Pre Birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence. Therefore, when it comes to planning activities i sit back and observe the child first. Its likes and dislikes and later plan specific activities in order for the child to learn. I look forward teaching and sharing this knowledge with others whom interested.
