Mariela, childcare provider - GU2 Stoughton

My name is Mariela, however my nickname is Eli as short. I am a very friendly individual and love working with children. I am a good listener and communicator. Furthermore I have work experience with children as I worked for a company which involved me being a Psychologist to children up to 18 years of age.I had to ensure their comfort and make sure they felt safe to talk to me about any sorts of things that would bother them. I also used to look after a 4 year old child, named Akshay, when my Auntie (who used to be his nanny since 1 year old) was busy and could not look after him. I took him to places and entertained him for nearly all day, during week days.

Finally I would decribe myself as a very calm , motivated and friendly individual, who loves working with children and people generally. I love dogs, they are my favourite pets (although I like any type of animal) and I enjoy shopping.
After being an Au Pair I'd like to enjoy the people I will work for and ensure their comfort of being around me as well.
