Shannon, childcare provider - HA7 Stanmore

My Name is Shannon and I am 19 years old, looking for a job as a live out nanny. I have previously studied Child Development in addition to this I have a years worth of work experience in a nursery in which the main tasks were to Look and evaluated the child’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills and the progression of their development over time.
Created activities for children to then learn from. I.e. their reading skills.
Gained further experience by looking at the child’s gross motor skills in addition to their Cognitive Development. Speech and Language Development and their Fine Motor Skill Development.
Following on from this from a young age I use to child nanny two little boys aged 4 and 7 for a year (whilst the mother was home) for a couple of hours twice a week. Making sure homework was complete, making sure they ate their dinner, played a few games and got them bathed and ready for bed.
This year I have previously worked in a nursery full time as a nursery assistant looking after children aged 1-3 years old.

Nappy changing - toilet training. Making sure the children were always clean.
Leaning through play.
Recording activities throughout the day to then provide it to the parents at the end of the nursery day.
Recording eating habits.
Baking with children.
