Ella, childcare provider - HP15 Hazlemere

My name is Ella but many children like to call me Ella Bella :). I have been working in the same private day nursery for 3 years and have found it a very rewarding experience. During this time I studied to gain a Level 3 Diploma for The Children and Young People’s Workforce and I am now looking to further my career in childcare. In my current role I work with children from the ages of 6 months up to 5 years providing a high standard of physical, emotional, intellectual and social care, this includes planning age appropriate activities that cover every child's interest.
My friendly and social nature gives me the ability to work closely with the children's parents/carers and that is something that I believe is very important. I can work using my own initiative and as a room leader I devise different ways in which the children can celebrate Christmas, Easter, Diwali and other such events. This position also allows me to build professional bonds with the children in order to help and support their growth and development.
My job role has allowed me to build professional relationships with the children and their families and I try my hardest to help others to the best that I can. I have offered a babysitting service for many families that I know and also helped a family out with their everyday morning routine. This involved getting the children dressed and fed before driving them to the nursery setting.
