I'm Lucy, I am currently an ofsted registered nanny for 2 children providing before and after school care and also full time holiday care. I am looking for something with full time hours so I do not have to work 2 jobs any more as I'm constantly driving around!
I am a very caring and loving individual, I will always go out my way to help others. I love animals, sports, arts and crafts and music (although I cannot play an instrument... yet!).
In terms of experience with children, I started helping my mother teach dance to children at her dance school when I was about 15 and ever since then I have enjoyed working with children. At 18 I went to university to study Children, Young People and Families. Whilst studying I worked at a nursery and after school club to gain experience and also fund my university life. I then relocated back home and worked in another nursery for just over a year and then decided to get a job as a SEN teaching assistant. I worked at the primary school for 3 years and absolutely loved it, the only reason I left was to travel in New Zealand. I worked as a nanny in New Zealand for a few weeks for extra money and somewhere to stay which was a fun experience!
When I returned from travelling I got a job as a nanny for two children ages 4 and 8 and have worked with them ever since. Although I love my current job the hours do not suit me and I am having to work two jobs to keep myself occupied therefore I need something where I am able to work full time hours.
I am qualified and experienced, not only as a nanny but also as a teaching assistant. I am ofsted registered and have worked professionally with children between the ages of 3 months up to 12 years old ever since I was 18 years old.
