I'm looking for a nanny/babysitter job in Canterbury from the middle of August 2016.
I was born in 1991 Budapest, Hungary. I have a Russian mother, who is a French language teacher and a Hungarian father who was an architect. I’m their only child, but they have other children from previous relationship. My siblings are much older than me, so I was an aunt when I was three years old. Allowing me to grow up with young family members. When I was three years old my mother looked for kindergartens in the town we lived and came across a Waldorf kindergarten and she was impressed with it’s teaching credentials and principals. From that moment on there was no other educational alternative for me or for her as she decided to enrol in the Waldorf School teacher training. From a young age I was interested in a career as a kindergarten teacher and by the time I was in high school I was convinced this was the direction I should follow.
I worked as an au pair in Kent for a year and a half, looked after a three year old little boy. Currently I'm a nursery practitioner in Gravesend, but I'm moving to Canterbury in August.
Key skills that I have and believe is important in childcare: calm, patient, intelligent, craft orientated (I love to crochet, saw, paint and draw), happy with a good sense of humour, polite, easy-going, adaptable.
Partial / after-school care | $9.00 per hour |
Home nanny | $7.50 per hour |
My rates are just guidelines, I'm flexible about them. I can't drive so I either walk (so it takes me more time to get somewhere) or use public transport (pay for the ticket).
