I am a Mother of two beautiful children, who are now 15 and 17. I have almost twenty years experience working with children in primary school, preschool and nursery settings. I have a substantial amount of experience working with children with special needs and I'm especially good with dealing with children's emotional needs. Over the years I have also taken part in voluntary work abroad, in an orphanage and fundraising for the NSPCC. I believe in a child-led, warm and respectful approach to childcare and make it a priority to ensure that all the children in my care are safe and happy. I am at present studying for a BSc Psychology (Honours) degree with the Open University and I would like to specialise in child psychology. I like to bring fun and laughter into my activities and games with children and have a thorough understanding of the early years foundation stage learning standards. I am looking for flexible hours of work within a loving family home.
