About Me
I am polite, confident, reliable and friendly. I'm very organised and active. I have a step daughter aged 9 and a daughter who is almost 2. I spend lots of time with family and partner. I like to cook and I am very interested in health and nutrition.
For the past 2 years I have been enjoying some quality time with my daughter but I have decided to return to work. I would like to find a family that are happy for me bring along my daughter if possible. She's a very sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys playing and laughing so will love having someone else to play with us.
My Experience
I have 8 years experience working with children from young babies to teenagers. I like to have lots of fun but I am also sensible, responsible and have believe in the importance of teaching teaching children core values and manners. I will follow any rules and routines you have for your children and am willing to discuss any helpful suggestions if you would like me to. I have worked in a primary school, two nursery's and since 2010 have been a nanny for three families and am able to provide excellent references.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ2 in Childcare, Learning and Development.
I have been to courses in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Social, Emotional Awareness Development, ADHD Awareness and Fire Training and will happily take refresher courses at your request.
I love to learn and will be happy to undertake any other training you may like me to. I have plenty of experience and great references.
I am hoping to do a part time course at college soon to learn French or Spanish.
My Availability
I am willing to consider any hours at the moment but ideally I would like 3 days a week up to 30 hours. I am available from roughly around 8am till 7pm. I am happy to do any babysitting (perhaps inc overnight) if required. As mentoned above, I have a baby girl who will be 2 in November, I am hoping to find a family that are happy for me to bring her along. I am available to start at short notice and I am happy to be as flexible as you need me to be.
