Hi, my names Steph and I'm 19 years old. I recently attended a child care college course in which I worked in a reception class in an infant school. Since then, I have had to give up college for medical reasons but am still looking to work with children as I am going back this September. Working with children is something I love to do, so given the opportunity I would be very grateful for any job. I am also DBS checked and have attended a head start course.
I would love a part time/full time job looking after children. Preferably in the Eastbourne area but I am open to getting the train if need be. Unfortunately I don't drive so school pick up/drop off would not be suitable for me at the moment.
Since I started work experience, my confidence has got a lot better. I am now able to interact with other people I must work with as well as interact enthusiastically with the children. I have always been good with working with children but these opportunities have shown me how much better I can be.
I believe that there is always learning to be done with young children so I look for ways play can be turned into an educational experience for them. When I did work experience, we did a lot of activities that were based around the children learning, that they enjoyed too.

Stephanie can provide references from recent employers
Stephanie has been a volunteer for the Education Department at Drusillas Park, which is a visitor attraction designed for children under the age of 12, since June 2014. As Stephanie’s supervisor I find her to be nothing but trustworthy, honest and friendly in her attitude and approach to all given tasks. Stephanie’s duties include: educating adults and particularly children in the areas of animals and conservation, supervising a number of key areas around the Park, reacting to visitor’s requests and presenting information to the public. I can advise that Stephanie is trustworthy, committed to her role and works well within the team. Within her working environment, Stephanie is required to work on her own initiative and frequently independently where she demonstrates good communications skills, self confidence in her role, a professional attitude as well as always working to her best abilities. In becoming a volunteer, Stephanie demonstrates commitment to her interests as well displaying enthusiasm and dedication.
I know some people cannot afford to pay babysitters a lot so I like to keep my prices reasonable
