My name is Jess, I am 24 years old and have over 3 years of experience working in a Nursery with children aged 0-5, I have a CACHE Level 3 qualification in childcare, paediatric first aid trained and have a current DBS. I am looking for full time or near to full time work. I am very flexible with times and can offer emergency care.

I am a calm, caring and patient person; I love working with children of all ages because they make everyday different, they are so interested in the world around them and are also eager to learn skills. I enjoy watching them develop and learn how to interact with the world around them, I feel a huge sense of achievement when I have been a part of that learning experience. I spend a lot of time researching new activities and experiences I can try with the children, as well as reading any new research relevant to my role. My favourite kinds of activities include messy play, imaginary and outdoor play. I am a strong believer in children learning through play so strive to make the activities as enriching as possible.

In my spare time I enjoy baking, reading, arts and crafts and have recently begun to learn Polish; In the upcoming year I hope to start learning sign language.
