Kim, childcare provider in Yate

Hi, my name is Kim and I am 32 years old. Firstly, I absolutely love childcare and do not see it as a 'job', I see it as lots of fun looking after such sweet children! I love seeing them grow and develop, and it's a rewarding feeling to know I have played a part in their development.
I have only 7 months experience of working with children in my previous job as a nursery assistant. However, in that time I have learnt so much and I loved seeing the children every day. I also love to be creative with the children while using water, sand and gloop (cornflour and water) as a variety of sensory play. I have done lots of singing with them too and can recite quite a few nursery rhymes very easily! Story time is also a favourite not mine.
I love cooking too, and baking is my main passion. I make cakes regularly and love to try new things with a bit of help from a cook book to start with!
I will happily tidy up around the house if required, and will involve the children as much as I can depending on their age and ability.

No matter what activity I am doing with the children though, I am always enjoying myself and making their happiness a priority.
