Lucy, childcare provider in York YO1

Hi I am lucy , I am 17 but I have always love looking after children as my family say I am a build in nanny. I like to have fun with the kid by playing games and making things however I do not like misbehavior. I had a active childhood with going hiking and climbing and I would like to do this for other children as it helps to bring a understanding of nature and safe ways to act in different locations. However I do discipline which involves telling the child what they have do that is wrong then give a punishment that fits what they have done. For example if they said a bad word, I would tell them that it is wrong to say things like that and see were that got it from. Then I would place them in a sit for 5 minute's. When the parents got back I would tell them what happened and say what I did.
