Katie, childcare provider - LS6 Leeds

Hello there! I am Katie, Yorkshire lass with a passion for making children happy and laugh. Whilst I have no children of my own however have 8 nieces and nephews all under 10 that I look after regularly. So I am very comfortable with taking care of children and have developed eyes in the back of my head to help me do so!

For a 24 year old, I have more experience in the work place than most. Often holding down two or three jobs at a time (and juggling school work) from the ages of 14 - 18. This helped develop my confidence and varied my skill set. I did well in my GCSE’s and continued my success into Huddersfield university where I gained my Law degree.

‘Why aren’t you doing something with your degree?’ I hear you scream (as are my parents). To be completely honest I just didn’t agree with how law works and is made. So that lead me on a journey to deciding to do something I’m passionate about - children.

Children are the future and I would love to be apart of raising a child to be confident, happy, respectful, intelligent and kind.

As a self confessed nerd, I am looking forward to learning aspect of looking after children. I’m fairly intelligent (don’t ask me about geography) and love expanding this knowledge by learning with children (have you ever been to eureka?!)

My ideal role would be a family that needs some help and support. Parents who want their children to achieve goals and help develop them early on, giving them the platform for success when they are older. I actively want to cook and clean also.
